About VLAT (VMRF Law Aptitude Test)
VMRF Law Aptitude Test is an entrance test specifically designed to understand the Reading and Comprehension Skills, Reasoning and Critical Thinking Ability of the students that are essential to pursue Legal Education.
Considering the different eligibility criteria for the Three Year and Five Year Integrated Law Programmes, two different sets of VLATs, VLAT 3 and VLAT 5 will be conducted. Alternatively, for Three Year Programme, valid scores of LSAT- India / CUET and NLSAT and for Five Year Integrated Law Programme valid scores of LSAT-India /CLAT / AILET and MHCET are also accepted. However to be eligible for the scholarship, it is mandatory to appear in VLAT.
Mode of Test : VLAT 3/VLAT 5 will be an Online AI Proctored Bilingual (English & Tamil) Test with a duration of 60 minutes.
